Revolution is an Eternal Dream
The film, based on the life of Juan José Castelli, the least known of the revolutionaries of May 1810, rebuilt and staged some scenes that were not developed in the novel by Rivera. It fictionalizes the Cabildo Abierto on May 22nd, the swearing on May 25th, the shooting of Liniers and the royalist leaders of North Expeditionary Army led by him as well as, the Operations Plan designed by Moreno and the spurious judgment he was submitted at after the defeat in Huaqui or Desaguadero.
